The Contour Corset Tee redefines the classic t-shirt silhouette with a modern twist. Made from premium 220gsm cotton lycra, it offers a thick, stretchy, and durable feel. This oversized tee is designed to be cinched at the waist with four box pleats, creating a flattering hourglass shape while maintaining a relaxed fit around the bust and sleeves. The signature label at the back, adorned with four distinct orange stitches, adds a touch of Rethread's signature detail. We ship worldwide. Free shipping on all domestic (South African) orders over R1500.
South Africa: shipping cost and time
- Express Shipping (R150): 1–3 working days
- Standard Shipping (R99): 3–7 working days
- Free Shipping (over R1500): 3–7 working days
International Shipping
- Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and location.
- Shipped via TUNL, with the option of UPS, FedEx or TUNL economy.
- Delivery takes 5–15 business days, depending on the option you choose.
- Nothing to pay on delivery. Duties and taxes are always paid upfront: included in our prices for the US, UK, EU and Australia, and paid at checkout everywhere else. See International Shipping & Duties.
Rethread is not responsible for items not received due to shipping issues while in transit.
RETURN POLICY
We hope you love your purchase! If you need to make a return or exchange:
- Refunds: request within 14 days of delivery.
- Exchanges or store credit: request within 30 days of delivery.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition, with tags and packaging.
- Sale items: the same policy applies, except sample sale items, which are final sale.
- Damaged or incorrect items: email helpme@rethread.store within 24 hours of delivery, with photos.
- Return shipping costs are for the customer’s account.
International orders: we strongly discourage international returns, as shipping, duties and taxes back into South Africa can cost more than the piece itself. If you’d still like to go ahead, we accept them within the same policy and will help you arrange it, at your own cost.

Exquisite quality and perfect fit.
Great concept and design. But it’s not the type of top you wear in a hurry. Slightly difficult to wear so I think stretchier material or a zipper should have been introduced . It’s also snug around the waist and I am tiny person (size 6/ xs) and I couldn’t exchange due to sizes being sold out.
Fits like a glove, love clothes that extenuates your curves.
This top is more than a top - It is a staple and a must have. Never thought I'd feel so sexy in a t-shirt style top, but here we are thanks to Rethread. The overall customer experience is superb. Cannot punt this brand more.
