Delivery Times

We ship both locally and internationally using trusted couriers.

South Africa

  • Standard Shipping (Economy): 3-7 business days. 
  • Express Shipping: 1-3 business days
  • Free Shipping: Available for domestic orders over R1500, and take 3-7 business days. 

International Orders:

  • Shipped via FedEx Express
  • Delivery within 5-10 business days (times may vary based on destination)

Important: Import duties & taxes vary per country. Customers are responsible for checking applicable costs. Rethread is not liable for any additional fees upon arrival.

Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your purchase, but if you need to return or exchange an item, here’s what you need to know:

Return & Exchange Eligibility

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags and original packages attached.
  • Returns for cash refunds may be requested up to 14 days from your delivery date. 
  • Returns for store credit, gift cards or exchanges may be requested up to 30 days from your delivery date. 
  • If you’ve chosen to ship the item back yourself or return it to our Woodstock showroom, please note that we’ll need to receive the item within 7 days of your return being approved. We know life happens and delays can pop up - if that’s the case, please do get in touch and let us know. If we don’t hear from you, the return or exchange will be considered cancelled.
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

International Orders:
We unfortunately do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders. Due to FedEx pricing structures, duties and taxes, return costs often exceed the price of the garment.

Sale Items:

  • The same policy as above will apply for items purchased on sale (excluding sample sale items).
  • Sample Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Damaged or Incorrect Items:
If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please email us within 24 hours of delivery at helpme@rethread.store, with clear photos and a detailed description. If the damage is due to a manufacturing fault, we will facilitate an exchange or return.

2. Ship Your Return

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • If you prefer, you can arrange your own return shipping to:

  • Items must be carefully packaged to avoid damage in transit.

3. Processing & Refunds

  • Once received, our team will inspect the item and process your exchange, store credit, or refund (if applicable).
  • Refunds will be issued within 3-7 business days (shipping costs are non-refundable).

 


Additional Information

No exchanges, returns or refunds for sample sale items.
Do not send returns without prior approval—unauthorized returns will not be processed.
We are not responsible for lost or undelivered returns.
